Food: Our Diets as We Age

The National Institute of Health’s Senior Health division has put together a multi-faceted article with several great resources related to proper diet and nutrition as we get older. Being on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, many of our patients have above average access to fresh local produce and seafood selections, both of which are recommended additions to our diets. Older adults from Hooper’s Island to Ocean Pines can easily implement small changes such as these into their diets, which can lead to positive health outcomes.
