Requirements for Our Nurses

All R.N. and L.P.N.’s contracted through Nurse Professionals Home Care L.L.C. possess the following criteria (Requirements for CNA and home caregivers are similar to those listed below for nurses):

• Graduation from an accredited university or school of nursing
• Current R.N. license in the state of Maryland
• Current CPR or BCLS card (possession of ACLS if applicable to position)
• Statement of last physical (performed within the last 12 months)
• Copy of last TB PPD test or chest x-ray (must have been performed within the last 12 months)
• Copy of Hepatitis B series completion or signed declination
• Copy of MMR, Varicella, and Hepatitis B titers
• Completion of the nursing skills checklist
• Successful completion of a background investigation which includes: criminal court records, social traces and state sexual offender registry.
• Successful completion of a substance abuse test
• Successful completion of the medication administration test
• Current experience in professional speciality area
• Professional references from prior employers
• HIPAA compliance statement
